Metacognism
In a world where man speaks of himself by showing what seems instead of what is,
where no one finds themselves because they search outside instead of within themselves:
we believe in the thought of one's own thoughts,
in identifying them and one's own emotions.
We believe in metacognition.
The importance of one's own mind and mental states, of distancing oneself from them to reflect upon them.
In our decade, where the individual either believes they are on a pedestal or believes they are beneath the ground, where others are discredited, judged, or seen as better.
Where the condition of others is a goal to achieve or to avoid.
Where man reads events and listens to the words of others without any objectivity, believing their reality to be unique and diminishing the reality of others: we believe in perceiving reality as it is, without filters imposed by our past or feared by our future. Where the ego has stopped being the self and has begun to be I am more, I am less.
"We believe in one's own introspectiveness, in understanding one's own patterns in order to manage them, to design them.
" We see with horror the thinking that banishes pain, that distances fear from one's emotions, yet accepting a fear served by the media while we eat with our families.
We shudder at those who ask others not to cry, not to suffer.
We believe in embracing every emotion, in the full emotional spectrum of man.
In a world where we now feel guilty, weak even just in crying, in suffering, we want to bring pain and fear back to where they belong: within man.
Understanding that happiness is not a permanent room, but a transitory emotional state.
Accepting that we are in constant change, accepting that yesterday we were different from today.
In a world where we do what has been done to us, where a child is considered only a child rather than a human ready to assimilate everything, we want awareness to break that circle in which we have long walked. In a world where we poison those we love and ourselves.
Where unconsciousness is the worst poison.
We believe in overcoming one's own mental limits.
We believe in human metacognition.
